Wedding Cakes
The traditional type of wedding cake, it seems, is fading out. The older hard icing, once favoured by my mum or gran, has more or less disappeared altogether. Softer, rolled icing is king. However, If a traditional cake is wanted, then I am happy to say that we still do them.
We will sit down and work with you and your ideas. We still do a traditional style once in a while if requested, you know; scrolls, folded sheets or lots of flowers, and for that we use a softer icing. People like the stacked cakes still, but are more inclined to put a wacky couple on the top and dispense with the columns.
